Description

We offer a wide range of eco accommodations, includung self contained cottages, bamboo tree houses, dormitory accommodation and camping facilties. Some of the lodge is close to the parking area and surrounded by amazing rushinmg rivers with an abundance of natural pools ideal for bathing, and the rest of the property is a 15 minute step uphill hike, deep into the heart of the rainforest. We offer a wide range of nature adventure and community based ecotoursim activities, including our village homestay accommodation. All of our power is renewable energy, our gardens are 100% organic, and all employees are local. We are proud to be the recipient of numerous international awards. As well as the normal tourist activities, we offer some community based activties giving guests a true taste of real life here in Dominica, ensuring the local hosts benfit from our projects. Our NGO, The Suatinable Living Intiative Centre, offers workshops in most forms of renewable energy, and we also offer free eco tours of the property to guests and local schools.

Location

The lodge is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, in the heart of the Rosalie rainforest, on the unspoilt east coast of Dominica, surrounded by pristine rivers and majestic mountains.

Advice to our visitors

You should bring with you a flashlight, a light raincoat, and some comfortable walking shoes.
