Eaton Season Ranch is a guest ranch where you can come and enjoy nature by doing activities such as biking, running, swimming, fishing, hiking, meditating or just connecting with nature getting away from it all. We have a cabin with full amenities, bath, full kitchen to prepare local seasonal foods. We have a garden with fresh vegetables and herbs. If you choose, we provide you local seasonal food from our ranch as well as from other neighboring farms. Our mission is to share our love of the land with you and for you to connect to the land through your food. We have recipes and seasonings to help you prepare your food. There is wild fruit such as blackberries and fruit trees growing on the ranch we invite you to pick and eat. Included int he cabin is a binder we put together of the ecofriendly ways we built our establishment and measures we take to be more sustainable mainly by eating in season and locally!

Location

Our guest ranch is located in eastern Washington about 5 hours east of Seattle. Our ranch is about 30 minutes from the Idaho border. It is located on the Snake River in Wawawai Canyon with canyon land terrain for hiking- good easy trails as well as challenging ones. The cabin is nestled in a grove of trees with a creek running nearby. There are lots of shade trees and graveled parking lot. The main road is paved going to the cabin for easy access. 2 miles down from the cabin is the Snake River for swimming, fishing, or boating and kyacking.

Advice to our visitors

Depending what time of year you visit us, sunscreen and good hiking shoes/boots would be good to bring. I also like to wear a hat. Bring a swimsuit for river swimming in the summer or a fishing pole to fish great salmon or steelhead. We provide an insect and bird guide as well as binoculars. We do have wild animals and reptiles. They have never caused us any problem, but we do caution they are out there and we respect each others boundaries and space. We furnish a firstaid kit. If you have any allergies to wasps, bees, poison ivy you need to come prepared.
