Description

A small colonial type hotel of 16 rooms laid out on 2 floors around a garden courtyard. All rooms are of different size and comodity, with private bathrooms and hot water. Some with bath tub, a/c and tv. We have installed solar panel for water heating and employ all local staff (mainly females). The hotel can arrange tour guides for the ruins or all the other attractions in the surrounding.

Location

Located in the western part of Honduras in the village of Copan Ruinas, widely known for the archeological park and ruins of Copan. We are surrounded by mountains, where a large part of the Honduran coffee is grown. The altitude is 700m. or about 2100 ft. with an average temperature of 25 C. It is a great place for horseback riding, bird watching and absorbing the local culture.

Advice to our visitors

The cool months are January and February, getting warmer in March and April, after which the rainy season starts untill around November, during which time it is advisable to use insect repellent.
