Description

The River Dance Lodge is a place that celebrates wild rivers, nature and adventure. We welcome you to come relax and enjoy the ambiance of a hand-crafted log cabin. Adjacent to the 1.1 million acre Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness and the Lewis and Clark Trail there are miles of trails to explore. Three wild and pristine rivers neighbor the resort - the Clearwater, Selway and Lochsa. You can swim from a white sand beach, fish for cutthroat trout, take a whitewater rafting trip, or a lazy summer float.
At the end of the day sooth your body with a soak in your own private hot tub on the deck of your cabin, with a heavenly view of verdant, forested mountains and the gently flowing Clearwater. There are six log cabins at the River Dance Lodge including two duplexes. Depending on sleeping arrangements, we can accommodate from 32-64 people, making this the ideal location for a family reunion, wedding, honeymoon or business retreat. We also offer a lovely camping area.

Our lodge near the Lochsa River in Syringa, Idaho is home to a new wilderness vacation resort in the Rocky Mountains, located just 3 miles from the Lewis and Clark Trail on the banks of the Middle Fork of the Clearwater, one of the original rivers designated "Wild and Scenic" by Congress in 1968. Surrounded by 1.1 million acres of the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness Area, our property is only 90 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho on Hwy 12 with easy fly in access from Missoula, Montana or Spokane, Washington. The area surrounding River Dance Lodge has plenty of cultural and historical activities available for those who may not want a fishing, rafting, riding or canoeing adventure.
